Our Mission Statement:
The First Christian Church of Lexington, KY, exists to become like Jesus in CHARACTER and to do His MISSION in the world.
Our Vision Statement:
The First Christian Church is a body of believers who are continually striving to be more and more like Jesus through the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. This body is made up of multiple generations and different ethnicities from diverse backgrounds coming together as one family under one Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ.
We regularly gather to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. We also reflect Jesus as we individually go into our neighborhoods and communities. Our desire is that as we are being transformed to look more like Jesus, our community, city, state, country and world, will as well. We do all of this with a sense of urgency as the return of our Lord Jesus Christ draws closer.
